The Exit is a 30-day experiment to step away from social media and return to real life. It begins on 12 June and runs for 30 days. *Currently live in BLR only.
Ideally, yes - DELETE the apps that pull you into endless scrolling, comparison, distraction, or validation. For most of us, that means Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, dating apps, or anything that feels hard to leave once opened.
Yes, if your work genuinely requires it. The Exit is not about making your life difficult. It is to stop social media from becoming the place where your attention disappears.
Yes. We’ll share simple offline plans through the WhatsApp group - walks, sunset by the lake, listening parties, dinners, karaoke nights and other easy ways to meet new people in real life.
To join any plan, just follow the details shared in the link and RSVP for whichever plan feels right for you. Nothing complicated. Just small, ordinary ways to step outside and spend time with real people again.
Most offline plans will be free. Some may have a small cost depending on the activity, tickets, or food coupons. If there’s any charge, it’ll be clearly mentioned before you RSVP. No hidden costs.
Please RSVP only if you genuinely plan to show up. Our experiences are sacred and intentional - treat them as such. Last-minute no-shows impacts the group experience. If your plans change, just inform us early so we can open the spot for someone else.
For now, the offline experiences are currently live in Bangalore. The 30-day reset is open to anyone, from anywhere - but the in-person plans will begin in Bangalore first.
That’s okay. This is not about being perfect. If you open social media, don’t quit the whole thing. Just notice what pulled you back, and come back. The goal is awareness.
We’ll use WhatsApp only for important updates, offline plans, coordinates, and announcements. We’ll try not to spam or add extra digital noise.
For any queries, please DM the group admin only when needed: Contact Number: 6364124613
I believe some things can only be truly understood once you experience them for yourself. So after 30 days, we’ll pause and reflect - What changed? What came back? What did we miss? What did we not miss at all? What do we want to carry forward?
The goal is not to disappear from the internet forever. The goal is to return differently - with more awareness, more control, and a healthier relationship with our screens.
